Long Term Support
Upgrades and maintenance for long term security and stability.
Success in business depends on giving attention to many aspects of a company consistently over time. For websites, we help our customers succeed by committing to long term support of these projects.
The key to long-term success on search engines is to maintain a site over time with regular updates to the content. New sites can have trouble getting ranked until there is an established history. Existing sites that have gone too long without updates can lose their good rankings over time if search engines suspect they may be abandoned. We recommend monthly updates as a way to keep content fresh.
When a client request comes in, we always try to respond promptly to give our clients a timeline of how quickly we can complete the updates. We have found over the years that many simple requests for content updates may only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete, so we often try to handle these smaller tasks immediately during our business hours.
Content management systems can greatly simplify the process of building and maintaining a website. But with a popular CMS like WordPress, it is very important to maintain the code and keep it up to date. Many WordPress updates fix security vulnerabilities that have been found, so it is often very important that those updates happen quickly. Our support includes regularly updating WordPress core, plugins and themes to the latest versions, while also checking to make sure that the site still operates properly.
